From now until January 11, 2023, the Sedona Parks and Recreation Department is inviting young people in Sedona to enroll in a new sports program with Beginners Edge Sports Training, or BEST

For the first BEST winter sports season, four programs will be offered: a basketball clinic, a soccer clinic, a volleyball clinic, as well as a special 4-sport multi-sport clinic where participants will learn skills in soccer, baseball , basketball, and track and field. Each of the clinics offered targets young people from 16 months to 10 years old. Clinics will be held at the West Sedona School Gym on Sundays for six weeks, from January 15, 2023 through February 19, 2023. The cost for a full six-week session is $96 per child.

Then be on the lookout for an outdoor spring series where additional sports such as flag football will be added, with more days and opportunities for age groups!

BEST, from Phoenix, has been operating in Arizona since 2004 and has given thousands of kids a lifelong love of sports through their fun programming. These sports clinics aim to teach children the basics and love of sports in a fun, safe, exciting, encouraging and structured environment with professionally trained paid staff.
