QSFA organizes more sporting events


Doha: The calendar of the Qatar Sports For All Federation (QSFA), under the aegis of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, is experiencing great and intense activity, across the range of sporting events and activities, including the sport for all billiards championship in its second edition, launched on Sunday, in cooperation with the Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation.

The competitions, which will conclude today, have a wide participation and the championship is one of the tournaments that attracts a large number of players as a popular game. Sporting events and activities, organized by Sports For All as part of the “Invest Your Time” summer program initiative, are organized in cooperation between the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the Ministry of Education and of Higher Education, which include 124 sporting events aimed at promoting physical activity during the summer for all age groups.

Among the summer activities are those organized in cooperation with the Doha Youth Center and held at Al Andalus schools, and which are expected to end during the third round of sports, the events including a range of games and sports activities and recreational on Tuesday. Among them are football game skills, shooting training, passing the ball and dribbling, tennis competitions, tug of war and special fitness training are held, aimed at the recreation of young people and their allowing them to practice their favorite hobbies.

In a related context, the activities of the weekly Lusail family sports programme, which is held on Wednesdays and Fridays, continues at the Lusail Gym and is characterized by its lively and active atmosphere for all members of the family, and among sports most important in progress. for all activities taking place in public parks, the 365 days of activities and vitality program.

Meanwhile, the QSFA is organizing a recreational race tomorrow, at Al Rayyan Green Carpet Park for a distance of one kilometer, with the participation of all family members. Registration for the race is available through the QSFA app, and encouraging prizes have been awarded to the children.

The SQFA announced earlier that it will organize 124 sports events during the summer until August 12, in order to promote the practice of sports, on a continuous basis, to make sports a way of life.
