April 29, 2022 // Franchising.com // NAPLES, Fla. — Athletic Republic is set to open its new location in Naples on May 7. Athletic Republic Naples is owned and operated by local entrepreneur Carolyn Homberger, along with her husband Eric. After working for 15 years for a global fintech company in Naples, Carolyn decided it was time to pursue her dream of owning a business in the community she loves. As an active distance runner and mother of three young athletes, Athletic Republic was a perfect fit for Carolyn’s professional and personal interests.

“Athletic Republic represents a truly modern way to train by blending technology, science-based protocols and good old hard work. Playing sports has been a major influence in my life and I hope this center will serve as a place for athletes to hone their athleticism as well as their goal setting and leadership skills,” said Carolyn. “It’s both humbling and exciting to bring a fitness concept like this to the Naples community that helps everyone achieve their goals.”

In order to present itself to the community, Athletic Republic Naples will organize a grand opening celebration on Saturday, May 7. With a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Chamber of Commerce taking place at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, May 6, the new training center will offer residents and guests complimentary training sessions, facility tours and up to $100 discounts on founding memberships.

Founded by the late John Frappier in 1990, the concept of sports training is derived from practices used by the Soviet Union to expand the threshold of athletic performance. After being introduced to a multitude of physiological and training principles used by the Soviets in 1986 for the United States National Team at the Goodwill Games, John was inspired to bring these innovative methods to America. The Athletic Republic founder assembled a team of sports medicine professionals and athletic trainers to implement these practices in the United States. Today, Athletic Republic continues the Frappier legacy by continuing to deliver cutting-edge training that unlocks the potential of any athlete, helping them perform at their best. The brand’s use of scientific protocols and specialized training equipment has helped nearly two million athletes of all ages achieve their goals, improving their speed, power, agility, strength and stability. . Athletic Republic performs functionality testing through its Plyo Press Power Quotient (3PQ), video running analysis on its acclaimed AR high-speed treadmill, and full-body assessments to identify each athlete’s strengths and weaknesses in order to determine where the focus of their training should be. on.

“Carolyn and her family exemplify what we look for in our partners at Athletic Republic,” CEO Charlie Graves said. “Carolyn not only has strong business acumen, but a passion for athletics and a desire to provide unparalleled customer service to her community.”
